TyMer Lacrosse is the content brainchild of an NLL analyst hoping to make you smarter about box lacrosse.
I’m Ty Merrow, creator of this independent venture to explain to you why I hate your favorite NLL team.
I worked for the Georgia Swarm for five years, mostly in the team’s media department, and oversaw lacrosse operations my final two years, as well. After that, I spent two years as an analyst and editor with the Lacrosse Flash, working with some of the most talented media personnel in the world of lacrosse.
Starting in the 2021-22 NLL season, I began a project to contextualize where teams were having the most success at certain facets of an NLL game. It grew into a wealth of information that helped me better explain every team’s strengths and weaknesses, and my Flash content utilized it prolifically.
TyMerLacrosse.com is an independent attempt to continue my statistical work and educate fans with content designed to help explain what we’re seeing throughout an NLL season. Unless specified differently, everything is my unvarnished opinion, tempered with years of working in the industry and communications with lacrosse experts across the continent.
